THE PLAYER RELEASE PROCESS HAS CHANGED, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
COMMUNITY HOCKEY
1) Any releases granted in the 2009/10 season should be carefully reviewed as the majority were issued for one season only
2) Families granted a one-year release as “key volunteers” for the 2009/10 season will be expected to move to the association in which they live for the 2010/11 season.
3) Midget aged players that were permitted to return to their pre-boundary change associations in the 2009/10 season may continue to stay in that same association without need for release.
4) Siblings of Midget aged players affected by the boundary change are not eligible for release.
5) Goalies will not be released to or from any association until both associations can confirm their goalie numbers (goalie release will be considered between August 15 – September 15, 2010).
6) AA or AAA players born 1993 or later will not be released to other quadrants at all unless there is substantial proof of residency.
7) Players in Bow River born 1995 or earlier go to Crowfoot Midget program with no requirement for release.
AA HOCKEY
