Hockey Calgary Annual General Meeting
Saturday, June 5th at the Radisson Hotel Calgary Airport

All members in good standing have the right to vote on the affairs of the Association at the Hockey Calgary Annual General Meeting.

Each Association shall have one (1) vote per fifteen (15) teams.  There will be no partial or fractional votes.

At the 2010 AGM the following positions are open for election;

• The Officers of Hockey Calgary
  Hockey Calgary By-Laws and Playing Rules – Page 12 - #19b
  The Officers include; President, Vice-Presidents (2), Secretary, Treasurer and the Registrar, 1 year terms

• Five (5) Directors at Large 2 year terms
  Hockey Calgary By-Laws and Playing Rules – Page 12 – #19c
  Any member in good standing may nominate an individual to the position of Director or Officer, subject to the provisions of Page 12, but must deliver the nomination to the office of Hockey Calgary by Midnight on the 10th day preceding the Annual General Meeting.  All such nominations must be accompanied by the written consent of the nominee, Page 12, #19 e.  No nominations will be received off the floor.

Registration will begin at 12:30 p.m. on June 5th, 2010

Please note that per Hockey Calgary Bylaws #37 - Rules and Regulations all Notices of Motion affecting the Bylaws or Rules & Regulations MUST BE SUBMITTED to Hockey Calgary’s General Manager prior to Midnight, May 5, 2010 to kirk@hockeycalgary.com in order for the material to be prepared in time to meet deadlines. Please use the Notice of Motion provided.

The Annual General Meeting is followed by a wine and cheese reception and the Annual Awards and Appreciation Banquet hosted by Hockey Calgary.  All voting delegates plus a guest are invited to attend as well as invitations will be sent out to award winners, league chairs and invited guests.
